Welcome to the City of Vassar Online Data Access Tool and Interactive Map!

This website allows you to view geographic information for the City of Vassar, Michigan.  With this website, you can display information such as parcels, land use and zoning codes, water/wetland areas, and aerial photography.  You have the ability to search for a parcel and display its information as well as spatially display other types of information.

In addition, this application allows you to locate a parcel in the City of Vassar and determine whether it is in the floodway, 100-year floodplain, or 500-year floodplain. This is a result of your community having restrictions on constructing new buildings or placing any fill in the floodway as well as requirements for any structures already located in the floodway. Before any construction or development can occur in any of the flood areas, the City of Vassar requires an engineering analysis of your structures and a Flood Elevation Letter. Also, if your parcel is within the immediate floodway or 100 year floodplain, you may be eligible for flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program.

To obtain a Flood Elevation Letter, you must submit a request form to the city.  You can print this request form from this site if your parcel is determined to be within one of the floodplain areas.

To locate a parcel, you can search by address, owner name, or parcel identification number (PIN). Once you have located the parcel, you can determine if it is in a flood area by clicking . You will then be notified if this parcel requires an Elevation Request Form to be submitted to the city before any construction or development is performed.
